For three decades the BUFA Campus and Studio 1 were home to one of Germany’s most acclaimed live music shows of all time: the ZDF Hitparade, hosted for the first 16 years by TV-legend Dieter Thomas Heck, one of Germany’s most popular TV and radio hosts. Generations of Germans came together on a Saturday evening with the whole family in front of the TV to watch the latest German pop stars perform live from Berlin. Studio 1 has a main studio with a size of 540 sqm and an extension of 111 sqm which is directly adjacent and open to the main area.
