Clive acquired the site for the owners in 2015 and works in both London and Berlin. Clive has a vision to deliver an international centre of excellence for film, media and progressive technology. Clive has been working in private equity and finance for over 10 years. He has a keen interest in the creative sectors and a drive for social, environmental and technology progression.
Hans Peter joined BUFA in 1999 and is based on site in Berlin. Hans-Peter is an expert in his field and is responsible for the operational processes at the studio on a daily basis. He studied telecommunication engineering and is the first on hand for any technical issues on site. He is also responsible for post-production and all IT enquiries on site. He coordinates all studio requests and ensures the smooth running of projects from start to finish.
Klaudia joined BUFA in 2016 as Operations Manager. Klaudia has a versatile background in PR, digital communications and project management. Prior to working for BUFA she helped a variety of companies such as WWF Germany to build and manage their online presence. She has lived and worked in Barcelona as a Communications Manager, supporting an airport consultancy and a mobile airport terminal start-up.
Laureen joined BUFA in June, 2016 and is responsible for studio enquiries and bookings, she coordinates the BUFA film series, as well as many more events and cooperations on site. Laureen has an extensive and long experience as a production manager, first assistant director and junior producer. She has worked with a range of independent and public production companies in Germany, such as Arte and ZDF. She has also worked alongside major brands such as Mercedes Benz.
Benjamin Kafka joined BUFA in 2018 as team lead and to co-develop and move forward with a new vision for the site. Benjamin has been working in film and media for over 10 years and has a keen interest in the creative sectors and a drive for educational, social and environmental progression.
Thora joined BUFA in 2000 as secretary to the board, then moved to the administration as a commercial employee and is now responsible for the entire accounting department of BUFA. Before that she worked as an administrative employee at the Technical University of Berlin, among other things for the science exhibition for the 750th anniversary of Berlin and as a senior secretary for the CAD project, a cooperation project with the Berlin Senate. Afterwards she was secretary and commercial employee at the engineering company Heick & Partner.
Sebastian joined BUFA in 2008 as a Re-recording mixer & sound engineer. He has a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Recording Arts.
Wolfgang joined BUFA in 1985 and has been working as a Sound Engineer ever since.
